AUGUST 2012 

After a three month break we are back on the road. The first days of August were used to do the necessary shopping of rice and food products, followed by packing and sorting. About 35 help packages were distributed on 9 and 13 August.

We were present on the monthly day for the elderly organized by the local medical center at Wat Jom Ket.

One of the people UGW helped out, unfortunately died suddenly end of July due to a heart condition. The funerals took place at Wat Ton Satu, the community temple.

Ms Lizzy Michael and her group “Wir Helfen Uns” donated in July another 5000 Baht for the UGW assistance program. 

The bank deposited the half year interests in June and these were added to the UGW account.

We thank all donors from last year’s action "Tears of Indra”, as the donors of this year Ms Lizzy Michael and her group “Wir Helfen Uns” of Hua Hin and Ms Brigitte of Sam Roi Yot.
