NOVEMBER 2012 

On the occasion of Loi Krathong, an important day for the local villagers, the sick and disabled in Khayai were visited by Pia on 26 and 27 November and given the usual supplies.

On 28 November - the day of Loi Krathong - Pia organized an afternoon for the elderly of Ban Khayai. Around 35 people joined the festivity. Krathongs were prepared in the morning, followed by a lunch for all. Lunch consisted of fried rice, meat and eggs, khanom Jin and five kinds of sweets. Late afternoon, the krathongs were floated into the Lopburi River. At the end all the oldies received a pack of rice, milk, water, food and fruit to take home.
