AUGUST 2013 

End of July we made two runs to the Makro to buy supplies, mainly rice. On 6 August we went to Big C to buy diapers. On the 8 August we returned to the Makro for a load of drinking water and we went to the fresh market. We took out half a day to constitute packages, which were distributed on 13 and 14 August to the sick and disabled in our community.

On 15 August in the morning 500 lunch boxes were readied. We supported lunch and sweets for the 150 children of Wat Jom Ket school and for about 70-80 elderly at Wat Jom Ket. A number of elderly were gathered for a ceremony at Wat Ton Satu on the other side of the river. The remaining lunch boxes were brought to Wat Ton Satu and further distributed by car to the elderly who aren’t mobile enough to participate at the gatherings on the temple premises. This concludes our help to the Khayai community and vicinity for this month.

Next to food supplies, we provided also some medicines and moral support to the sick.
